No company accomplishes greatness without a great team. John Jordan and Matt Kuiper have been dedicated members of the K2 family since the beginning. They have helped to establish the successful pillars of our company, and we are very appreciative of their endless contributions and exemplary leadership. To celebrate their 20 years with us, we had a milestone luncheon with our team where we honored all their hard work.

John started at K2 as a Foreman and is now the Director of Estimating. When asked what core value resonates most, he said Advancing Our Team. John explains that it’s his responsibility to keep advancing himself so that he can help his team grow. He sees the incredible future K2 has, and the potential people have to grow along with it. John’s wish for the company’s future is for the culture to remain family-centric, loving what we do and working well as a team.

Matt has worked in many different roles within K2. He has ranged from Apprentice, Estimator, and VP of Special Projects so he has learned almost every aspect of the organization. A pivotal moment in his career was when he and his project Foreman spent a a lot of time driving to various jobsites. During this time, he learned all about K2, leadership, job-specific documentation, and manpower/project allocation, which helped with his career growth. Matt would like to see the company establish a dedicated wellness program and looks forward to being a part of that in the future.

The luncheon was a great time for all attendees, including both the Jordan and Kuiper families. Founder, Dean Kredit, along with President/CEO, Jared Kredit, both gave speeches sparking inspiration and knowledge about the history of K2. We are overjoyed to have dedicated members of our K2 family, like John and Matt, who continue to lead us along successful paths. Having such teammates makes us excited for the future of our organization as we build a lasting legacy.
