Kicking off our Cohort #6 Field Leadership Development Program strong!
Our production leaders in-training showed up ready to learn, lead, and level up.
From leadership fundamentals and cost codes, to RFI’s and a hands-on activity, this session set the tone for what FLDP is all about: developing confident, capable leaders on and off the job site.
K2 recently presented to an ASU Construction Management class on the role of prefabrication in the electrical construction industry. Students also participated in a hands-on LEGO simulation that demonstrated key Lean principles—waste reduction, material organization, standardization, and the value of accurate documentation.
Through the activity, they experienced the importance of quality checks, the impact of rework, and the efficiency of one-piece flow over batch building. Overall, the session reinforced how clear documentation and organized workflows drive better quality, productivity, and project outcomes. #K2Electric #ElectricalContractor #ConstructionIndustry #WasteReduction
