Earlier this year, our K2 Prefab shop completed a Workplace Organization Training focused on 7S principles. Through the 7S red-tag process, the team identified items for relocation, improving shop flow, and overall efficiency.
As part of these shop optimization efforts, the Prefab team relocated floor cubicles and created space for a new work cell—another step forward in building more innovative, leaner processes.

K2 is proud to have partnered with DPR Construction on this 1,500 sq ft Hybrid OR #11 remodel at Tenet Abrazo West Campus, delivering a complete electrical upgrade. Our team completed demolition of the existing electrical systems and installed the specified lighting package, new OR11 electrical panels, EMT conduit pathways, and copper feeder runs. We also finalized low-voltage rough-ins, installed the owner-provided UPS, and provided rooftop equipment feeds and lightning protection—all completed within standard working hours to align with hospital operations.

This year’s holiday party at our prefab shop was a memorable celebration. The evening was filled with fun and camaraderie, from delicious food and exciting prizes to massage chairs and a golf simulator.
We proudly recognized 11 team members for reaching their 5-year milestone, 3 for reaching 10 years, and 1 for reaching 15 years.
