Our team recently had a hands-on training focused on cutting and threading OCAL conduit, bringing together team members from Facility Services, prefab, and production.
The training was coordinated by Christopher Hansing II with @borderstates and led by Greg Hewitt from ABB. The team worked through the full process from thread preparation to coating repair and quality checks, strengthening consistency and installation standards across teams.
This training enhances our in-house capabilities, allowing us to better support custom conduit fabrication and continue delivering quality work.

K2 Electric completed electrical work for the 94,569 sq. ft. El Rio Health project.
Under @venn_construction, K2’s scope included making all power safe for demolition within the shell portion of the building, along with new site lighting, a 3000A service entrance section (SES), shell lighting, shell fire alarm, and shell HVAC and mechanical power.
For the tenant improvement led by Barker construction, K2 completed the full electrical scope for the new medical and dental offices, including installation of a backup generator and all new lighting and power throughout the facility.
