K2 APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM
Employees who have completed 90 days of satisfactory performance can enroll in a four-year program fully paid for by K2 Electric. This program includes 8,000 hours of on-the-job training taught by certified, qualified instructors. The curriculum combines theoretical and hands-on learning.
FUTURE LEADERS
DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
The program is abbreviated “FLDP” = Field Leadership Development Program. The FLDP program entails 18 months of intensive leadership training. Cohorts learn skills ranging from project and planning to motivating and influencing. The individuals selected are recent or soon-to-be apprentices, graduates, or journeyman electricians looking for continued advancement into leadership roles, especially the foreman position.
FIELD APPRECIATION DAYS
Field days happen quarterly. This is when all corporate employees go to every job site to share a meal, celebrate quarterly recognition awards, share updates from management, gain feedback, and check out project sites!

The Empowered Edge program is part of our commitment to advancing our team, both professionally and personally. With 21 leaders already having gone through this experience with Sandy MacIver and Guy Martindale, the impact has been nothing short of transformational.

Highlighting one of the data center projects we’ve delivered⚡

At the Ak-Chin Data Center, K2 Electric completed a full electrical and telecommunications infrastructure package for a 15,000+ SF facility designed to support high-density data operations.

Our scope included building power, lighting, feeders, and electrical distribution, along with infrastructure for HVLS fans and SNMP monitoring systems. Across the 3.25-acre site, we installed underground conduit, a dedicated transformer pad, site lighting, and powered access points, while coordinating closely with Salt River Project on joint trench utilities.

Inside, our team completed a precise MDF build-out with cable tray systems, device rough-ins, and mounting infrastructure to support mission-critical equipment. #K2Electric#ElectricalContractor #NationalDataCenterDay #DataCenter #PerformToBePreferred
