Growing up in the family business, Jared Kredit spent much of his youth getting to know the industry. After spending most of his breaks from college working for K2, Jared was hired on as an estimator in 2008. Throughout his career at K2, he was heavily involved in accounting and operations before becoming president in 2019.
As an active member of the Arizona Builders Alliance, Jared currently serves as council chairman and previously served as vice chairman from 2018 – 2019. Additionally, he participated in the 2017 Leadership Development Forum.
Jared is a member of the Young Professionals Committee for the Associated Builders & Contractors association, and served on the board of directors and apprenticeship committee for the Independent Electrical Contractors Association.
Jared most appreciates the diversity of K2’s team, and the enjoyment they get when accomplishing challenging projects.
His proudest moment at K2 has been landing the largest contract to-date, Tucson Premium Outlets. This contract moved K2 into a new size category and launched them into beginning their Tucson division.
Fun Fact: Outside of work, Jared enjoys spending time cooking and trying new restaurants with his wife. He also coaches his kids’ youth soccer teams, snowboards, and does CrossFit.
