Dean Kredit

Founder

In 1980, Dean Kredit began his career in electrical contracting working for various firms. Eight years later, Dean started NJM Electric. After having the company for twelve years, Dean sold it to IES in 2000. Not long after that, Dean started his next venture, K2 Electric.

Over the years, he has attended many electrical courses; which include, the National Electric Code, Motor Control, and management classes. He has remained involved in numerous industry associations and serves as national treasurer on the board for the IEC Foundation.

Dean has most enjoyed the people he has worked with at K2. He says, “There’s nothing like our K2 team.” Having the opportunity to work alongside his sons over the past 10+ years has also been a highlight for Dean.

Fun Fact: Dean enjoys anything outdoors, and used to be an avid water skier. Now, he likes traveling outside of the U.S., and enjoying his cabin in Northern Arizona.
